Summer is a highly favoured season here in Australia as people are generally more relaxed and partial toward socialising and outdoor activities. Mr M and I took advantage of the good weather last Sunday and ventured out to a beautiful cafe in Chowder Bay to soak up the summer spirit and for a bit of people watching and of course, husband and wife bonding.
East Coast Lounge is one of those places where you could just sit and chill for a long long time because of its relaxing coastal vibe and plush seatings. If you like a bit of food adventure, remember to ask for their liquorice ice-cream as it is so delish and interesting and would cool you right down from the sweltering heat.
As usual, my dressing is highly weekend-oriented i.e. unfussy and casual and I dug out a lace camisole from Kookai that I had for 8 years and gave it a bit of love. Back then I remember getting a few comments from people about the low neckline but really, I’m eager to hear what they would say about what much younger girls are wearing nowadays! I’m speechless and I really mean it. It’s pretty disturbing to see what social acceptance means in the current society but I guess that’s a topic for another day. I also wore my new soft bucket bag just because…! It’s so lightweight and the metallic pink strap definitely adds an element of fun and excitement to the look. Ah, what an awesome temporary mood lifter that is while we earnestly wait for our Chrissy break! I cannot wait to explore the Sapphire Coast with Mr M and also hang out with him on a week day. How awesome is that?
What are your plans for the upcoming festive season? Do you celebrate Christmas at all?
