Mr M and I escaped to the South Coast for a few days last weekend to celebrate my birthday and it was a much needed break for the both of us. It was nice to slow down and enjoy the simplicities of a small town. Although I’m a city girl at heart, I do pine for days when I could be in the moment, enjoy my cup of coffee and work on those little crafts that I’m so passionate about.
On my birthday, I decided to introduce a splash of colours in my attire. I love my neutral palette but I also like to change things up a bit, especially on slightly more special days. In all honesty I did have doubts about this outfit as I’m experiencing an uninspired phase with my wardrobe. Purchasing something new may change the way I feel right now but I don’t think it’s the best way to fill that empty spot in my heart. I’m still trying to figure out a balance that I’m happy with but I’m sticking to my guns of maximising my current wardrobe first (for the moment). If you must know, I’m relying on my knitting projects to induce most of the serotonin that I’m missing from the lack of shopping but I’m not complaining!
Have a wonderful day/night you guys.

Beautiful sunnies !
We all have those uninspired moments. Which is part and parcel of life! try giving yourself a closet clear out perhaps? I find it really helpful 🙂
