In last week’s post, I styled the top half
of this pineapple print twin set with a full, midi skirt and heels for a softer, more romantic look. This week, I styled the bottom half with my structured crop top by Hectorr
and some chunky leather platforms for those hot, sticky and ‘I don’t care but
I care about how I look’ weekends.
Exercising a little bit of imagination could totally shed new light to pieces of garments that were manufactured to look a certain way. And that is why I’m never contented with the way I look unless I’m satisfied that I’ve put in some effort in mixing and matching my outfits. High five if you’re on this side as well.
In other news, I’m heading to Cape Town by the end of this week for a wedding celebration (YAY!). This will be my second visit there but I’m still ultra excited. Cape Town is a really beautiful, modern and arty-farty
city and I’m very fortunate to be able to enjoy it once again. If you must know, South Africa is ebola-free full stop. I’m planning to check out their local fashion scene and products at places like Kloof Street and the Old Biscuit Mill. Please let me know in the comments section below if you have any knowledge or suggestions on things that I wouldn’t want to miss out on!
I’m currently learning (very slowly) about photography so hopefully I’ll be able to show you a few pictures worthy of looking when I’m back.
