I reached a personal milestone while we were in Pangkor Laut and Mr M so generously invited my parents to celebrate it with me. As we are now separated by land and ocean, any opportunity to see them is more than precious.
I wore an all black ensemble that night, which probably wasn’t too smart considering the sheer number of mosquitoes who were out on a blood hunt. The dress was very pretty nonetheless and I adore the intricate chord lace detail and sheer back panels. The cut truly highlights the feminine silhouette without imparting any physical constraints. I didn’t bring any heels with me so I relied on my trusty leather sandals to finish the rather casual look.
We spent the evening eating delicious food and enjoying the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks and stilts. It was so nice to know that Mr M and my family get along well together regardless of cultural differences. I couldn’t have asked for a better family situation.
