Lengthwise, let’s just say that it’s a little awkward.
I wasn’t quite expecting the hem to fall right smack in the middle of my calves.
I had no idea how to make the culottes look more flattering but I kept them on anyway as I was experiencing withdrawal symptoms from my shopping ban. It’s currently classified as work in progress until I find the best way to rock them.
All hope is not lost (yet) as spring and summer is quickly approaching. Hopefully pairing them with beautiful sandals (lace-up maybe?) would be an effective remedy to what I would call an unusual length in the world of fashion.

I don’t know if culottes are for adults. I don’t know if I’m qualified to make that call. I would say either let the hem out some or shorten them to about 3″ below the knee?
Hey Brandy thanks for your suggestion 🙂 I think I would be more comfortable letting the hem out (I think that would look a little more flattering) and would probably do so once I completed my 2 beginners sewing workshop! 🙂
It is ok, or you can shorten the pant length, I think the pant looks different and you should keep it this way. Goodday.
