Polka Dot Midi and The Bright Orange Popsicle

Work was incredibly hectic last week. As much as I enjoy having a schedule that’s packed to the brim, I find that I’m increasingly craving for solitude. I think I just need a few days of r and r without worry and guilt to feel alive again.

Yesterday’s shoot was one of the more spontaneous ones we’ve had so far. After lunch, we drove around the burb’ to scout for a location and I was instantly captivated by the bright orange roller shutters that we randomly chanced upon. I can’t imagine anyone resisting this fun colour!

The midi length is something that I’ve avoided for a while but I’ve recently started seeing it in a different light. This length could look incredibly feminine and flattering if worn the right way. Being the eager beaver, I dusted my one and only pleated midi dress that I bought from Bangkok a few years ago and took it out for a spin, alongside my current favourite pair of platforms from Topshop. The polka dot print always makes me happy… do you feel the same way too?

A perk that I found working with Mr M is that I could goof around with ease in front of him. I had no qualms shouting ”THE CHIPMUNKS ARE COMING!!!” into the cone and doing pirouettes that I was once an expert in.

Wishing you a wonderful start of the week! Hope the backdrop has brighten you day.

    1. I’m glad I ticked your funny bone! No one was looking so I didn’t appear too silly except to the photographer. Thank you so much for your comment 😉
