Are off-the-shoulder tops still still in trend? Admittedly I’ve lost track and haven’t been able to keep up with everything in the fashion world.

This creamy broderie anglaise top is at least 8 years old and had survived multiple culling. I don’t know what the reasons were but I felt particularly sentimental about it. I purchased it from a little boutique in Kuala Lumpur at the time when quirky indie fashion shops begun to mushroom but never wore it till that day when we headed to the annual Sculpture by the Sea in Bondi. The boutique doesn’t exist anymore but let’s just say, I’m glad that I hung on to it.

I paired the girly top with jeans for extra sun protection and misted my skin with ample sunblock (I love Neutrogena Ultra Sheer body mist). If I could give you my top 3 tips for navigating such an event, it would be: #1. Prioritise sun protection as too much suntanning in Australia isn’t sexy.

#2. Use public transportation for the sake of your sanity!

#3. Wear comfortable shoes to avoid the need to hobble around.

Do head over to beautifully, suddenly if you’re keen on seeing the sculptures from an audience’s point of view. Natasha totally did justice to the exhibition!

Happy Tuesday.
