Last Weekend Edit: Do you think that the grass is always GREENER on the other side?

Hello people! Welcome to the start of a brand new week! How is everyone today?

Oftentimes I had moments when I just wished I could be the other person, someone who’s prettier, richer, taller, more well-read or travelled than me. But really, when is this comparison going to end? Do those thoughts even add any value to my life at all? Personally I think it is way better to write my own unique story and play my own special role rather than to re-run another person’s fabulous life. At least I could consider myself a perfect imperfection.

These photos were taken at the park where Mr M and I used to cross to get to the ferry wharf to catch our rides to the city. The weather in Sydney has been extremely temperamental so I had on a thin shirt for a bit of extra warmth. I would call it an ‘old new shirt’ as it has been sitting in my wardrobe brand new for a few years without experiencing daylight ever. I also thought pairing this light pink shirt with what I would call a ‘dirty green’ dress would give the overall look a slightly softer appeal. Speaking of this dress from Rodeo Show, I definitely have a love-hate relationship with it. Its material is so soft and silky but it also crinkles up like crazy! I could not do much to reduce those creases unfortunately. Finally to complete the casual look that I was always aiming for on Sundays (and many other days), I wore my leopard print flats to minimise  any unwanted effort or discomfort that is going to stop me from enjoying a relaxing and very precious Sunday with my coffee and of course Mr M.
