Last weekend edit: Rain drops keep falling on my head

Hi everyone! How are you today? The rain hasn’t stopped in Sydney since Sunday morning and I’m kinda enjoying the gloomy weather although a lot of people would beg to differ! Initially I thought I was going to have to scrap the ‘Last Weekend Edit’ post this week due to the wet and wild weather but Mr M thought that we could still drive around for a bit to scout for a potential location regardless and guess what we found!

My spirit was instantly lifted when I saw the ferry wharf because I could picture us doing a few fun and creative things there for the shoot. It felt perfect and best of all, the wharf was almost empty other than a father and his baby daughter playing ‘chasing’ with each other.

These leather boots that I got from Topshop were one of my best purchases last year. They are soft and rugged and so comfortable to walk in. I don’t know about you but I hate getting my feet wet in the rain so having them on made me feel so secured. An important tip is to constantly waterproof your leather shoes before you take them out for a spin to increase their longevity although I forgot to do so yesterday.

That blouse… where should I even start? It’s one of those treasured finds that I would love to pass to my future generations. I love how delicate it looks and those tiny pearls amidst the frills definitely add a touch of class to the overall look. I draped a  cream tweed jacket over my shoulders as the wind was a little chilly.

My mama gave me this Charles and Keith bag and I could see myself wearing it a lot because it’s such a nice neutral colour that could go with most things in my wardrobe.

I wore my bunch of chunky Samantha Wills to add a pop of colours and because I felt like throwing an arm party!

Keep dry all!
