Heart to Heart

Our little escape to Berry a couple of weekends ago was perfect in every single way.

The accommodation, the surroundings, the fresh air, the food, and the tempo of a small town.

Everything was simpler and that gave me the opportunity to examine my heart a little. Often times I was so consumed by all the sugar coating in other people’s lives that I missed out on what my own life is all about. It was nice to take a break from it all and focus on doing life with Mr M. Those little bursts of simple delights like long conversations, strolling hand in hand, knitting in the car were beautifully calming.

Outfit-wise, I wasn’t as organised as I wanted to be. I took this textured vintage dress with me because I haven’t blogged about it before (this is the unfortunate truth). I was quite glad about the decision because it is a pretty dress after all and shouldn’t be kept in the dark! Moreover its shape is flattering without the help of a belt, which makes it even better for quick holiday dressing.
