Heels, I recognise that I don’t wear them often enough.

I love them but the practical side of me had always managed to stir me to the flatter option. Last Sunday though, I decided to throw on some nude coloured heels that had been collecting dust for a special lunch date that Mr M had organised.

I went all out and flashed all my girly cards with a crop top, lace midi skirt and heels at once. It’s an all black ensemble (aside for those heels) and I just really like the fact that it’s simple yet doesn’t lack in details. The length of my Hectorr crop top is perfect because it sits comfortably just above the belly button. Oh and that divine lace skirt is currently one of my favourites! The lace detailing is beautiful and that A-line shape does wonders in elevating the feminine curves. The midi length gets many ticks of approval and I’m certainly keen on experimenting on it a bit more with different kinds of tops and shoe height.

Lunch that day was beautiful. The restaurant really took their time with service and instead of getting flustered about that, Mr M and I just savoured in each other’s company and the gorgeous surroundings. I thoroughly enjoyed the slower pace and it made me realise that life is more than a constant race.

Off to Malaysia for a wedding celebration (YAY) and I’m hoping to upkeep the blog even while I’m away. Well, let’s see.
